Her body was found with a number of bruises and a facial cut that couldn't be adequately explained. I think they tried to say that her injuries might've been caused by her trying to climb back onto the yacht or perhaps a dinghy that was found beached nearby, but, nobody knows. Her husband (Robert Wagner; Number 2 in "Austin Powers") claimed he went to bed and she wasn't with him so he didn't know anything about it.

EDIT 2: Initially I wrote that Lee Majors was her husband. I was going off of memory and I have no clue why I mixed him up with Robert Wagner. Thank you to u/detmeng for pointing out my error. Everything else should be correct though.
